About Linda Adler, MPH, MA

Linda has spent her professional life working to make the patient experience both personal and manageable. She has experience in many facets of the medical establishment including primary care, academic and policy settings. She believes that an empowered patient makes medical decisions that result in better outcomes and increased satisfaction.

Linda holds a masters degree in Health Education from San Jose State University as well as a masters in Health Communication from Stanford University. She has worked for many years in the areas of computerized decision support, health education and decision-making. Her projects and accomplishments include:

Development of web-based applications that enable users to obtain health-related services and information
Strategic planning and implementation for Kaiser Permanente Online
Coordination of the Kaiser Permanente Shared Decision Making Project
Served on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Science Panel on Interactive Communication and Health.

Most recently Linda was the Director of Integrative Health Decisions, based in Palo Alto, CA.
